I am concerned.
I am concerned about our collective mental health, and I am skeptical about whether the standard model of treatment is the right approach for many of us. It definitely wasn’t right for me.
If you are among the many struggling with your mental health, I see you. I intimately know depression, chronic stress, burnout, anxiety, loneliness, substance abuse, suicidal thought, and that pervasive, deep down feeling that something is terribly wrong. I lived closely with them, to varying degrees during different periods in time, for decades.
I am also hopeful.
I am hopeful because along the way I learned a few tricks and stumbled upon many doors that were worth opening. Now my life is completely different. I am grateful, hopeful, and connected to the people and natural world that surrounds me. The difference in life quality is beyond description, something that must be experienced to be truly understood.
I am hopeful that my experience will be useful for others as they find their own way of experiencing this for themselves. I don’t pretend to have any magic solutions but I am eager to share the considerable amount that I’ve learned. If you are struggling in any way and willing to try a different approach to life, I’d love to help you get started.

Meeting with me is like walking through a door that opens into a room with a hundred other doors you didn’t know existed. You can then choose what you want to engage and experiment with. The ideas and possibilities will help you learn different ways to move in life, and within each new movement, there is hope.
I will call on my sizable and diverse network as necessary to make sure that anyone who floats into my orbit is introduced to the right person, therapeutic tool, or experience as soon as possible.

We will look closely at your current life experience and consider the best behavior changes, tools, therapies, or experiences to help you move step by step into a different way of being in the world. Everyone’s path is unique and my job is to help you find yours as quickly as possible.

Group Sessions
Group sessions are for people looking to support each other through life’s challenges. We all care, but it is often hard to know what to do to effectively support the people we love. I believe that the deepest healing happens in relationship, and I believe this kind of collective vulnerability is a powerful and more robust process than individual work.
